HealthNet Homecare invests in a more efficient nurse appointment booking system for patients

HealthNet Homecare has partnered with field service scheduling and route planning specialist FLS to provide a more efficient booking system for nurse appointments.

As well as dispensing and delivering vital medication to our patients’ doors, we provide nurse-led training and medication administration for those that require it.

Our nurses work incredibly hard to provide the best possible care they can, and with increasing numbers of patients, the current booking system is struggling which has led to patient frustration.

We’ve listened to your feedback and our new scheduling system will mean an improved booking process, optimised appointment choices and safer and more efficient route planning for our nurses.

Jill Doyle, Director of Nursing, said “Our nurses are highly trained, caring and excellent at providing patients with vital support over the phone, face to face or via a virtual video link. This new system will make booking these appointments simpler for both our patients and our nurses.”

The new system will be rolling out over the next few months, and you should start to see some changes when booking your nurse appointments.
