Pharma Account Manager

Department: Commercial           Business Unit: Support Services            Reports to: Commercial Director (Pharma)          Line Management Responsibility: No          Location: Field / Homeworking

Job Purpose:

To effectively drive and support business growth in line with Company Strategy, being a key member of the Commercial Team.  Meeting customer needs by assisting and responding to requests in a timely manner, all within the aim of delivering the best customer experience through an excellent standard of account management processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business development across a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term business and growth success using existing and prospect customer networks
  • Provide an effective and efficient account management process developing and maintaining positive and productive customer relationships whilst consistently promoting HealthNet, also providing training and support on HealthNet digital tools where required
  • Monitor, review and prepare for routine customer Service Review Meetings across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Act as the main point of contact and handle customers’ individual queries – ultimately meeting and exceeding their needs including resolving conflicts and providing solutions in a timely manner
  • Work closely with client (pharmaceutical company) colleagues to ensure business growth is realised as soon as possible
  • To follow and promote relevant SOPs and Commercial Team processes
  • Maintain and grow own professional profile and knowledge of the homecare market and attend development and training courses as agreed with the Line Manager and Company Objectives
  • Attend professional conferences and events to maintain and improve knowledge and improve market presence
  • Overall ensuring that both personal and company targets for business growth are met and a high level of account management service is provided for all customers which is aligned with Company Objectives

Experience:

  • Proven work experience of business development and account management to meet and exceed targets
  • Work effectively across a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and market
  • An ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software

Qualifications

  • Business Administration
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Confidentiality and GDPR:

  • Observe and adhere to at all time the Confidentiality and GDPR statements listed in the contract of employment
  • Always adhere to and enforce the most up to date version of the Confidentiality and GDPR policies and ensure any breaches of either policy are reported immediately to the Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Pharmacovigilance:

  • To be trained in pharmacovigilance ad report all patient safety events and product quality events you may become aware of, from any source, within required timeframes

Good Distribution Practice:

  • To be trained in Good Distribution Practice and follow GDP standards at all times during the course of your work as defined in the Guidelines on Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 343/01)

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to and enforce the most up to date version of the Health, Safety and Environmental policy at all times and ensure all Hazards, near miss, accidents, unsafe working practices and breaches of the policy are reported to the HSE responsible person within the Organisation
